Posted in other forum, just wanting some more feedback. throughout my downloading experiences ive had many things pop up on my antivirus as a virus, trojan, spyware, malware, etc. Some of it i think is a false positive, but some of it I'm not sure about. Keygens are the most notorious for popping up as trojan of whatever.
Like Craagle causes alarm where i dont think its really a virus or w/e. GMOD.exe from the 'Non-steam games' thread does also but that i'm not sure about. During installation, Part of Nero 8 caused alarm. (downloaded from here) Is there a way to tell whether its a real virus etc or a false alarm? I use Avast as my anti virus and i like it a lot. |
